The 1st Annual Cancer Crusade in Mt. Pleasant held in 2008 raised over $14,000.00, half of which was donated to the Titus Regional Medical Foundation and the remaining half was donated to St. Jude's Cancer Research Hospital. The Mt. Pleasant Daily Tribune printed the above photo and article earlier this week.Mary Katherine along with friends Nancy Johnson and Amanda Johnson organized this great event for adults and children. The community rallied around them and they are very grateful for the support of businesses and individuals.
Please give HIM praise for those who have been healed of this terrible disease. Please pray for those who are fighting this disease and also for those who have lost loved ones to Cancer. We also need to continue praying for a cure.
